Editorial policy
Our standards
We report on health, nutrition, and longevity using the best available evidence. We prioritise systematic reviews, randomised trials, and consensus guidance over single studies and headlines.
Medical review
Articles that touch on clinical or medical topics are reviewed by a qualified professional before publication. Reviewed pieces carry a Medically reviewed note with the reviewer’s name.
Sources and corrections
We cite primary sources wherever possible. If we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and note the change. To report an error, contact our editors.
Independence and sponsored content
Our editorial decisions are independent of advertisers. Sponsored articles and paid partnerships are always labelled as such and are produced separately from our newsroom. See our Disclosure for details.
